This is for Protection Sport Handlers...
I am opening a new group of Assessment to Action for handlers who notice their dog feels off during heelwork and worry about injury.
Protection dogs are stoic and work in high drive, so it is easy to miss what their bodies are hiding during training. You notice something feels off, and you worry sport training is building hidden imbalances that could pull your dog from the sport.
So for 4 weeks, I am going to work with 3 of you, individually, to find what your dog is compensating for and lock in 2 daily exercises you can run on your own.
This note covers who it is for and how it works. Give it a quick read, then save your spot below or message me with questions.
What we'll do together
Over 4 weeks, I'll work side by side with you to help you:
I will review your clips, pinpoint handler posture and treat placement adjustments, and calm your dog out of high drive so strength movements target the right muscle groups.
You get individual support from me by message, the whole way.
How It Works
You'll get personalised support from me inside your own private community channel.
Send me text, voice notes, video clips up to 2 minutes, photos, and files, whatever's easiest, and I'll reply with direct feedback and guidance.
Message me anytime. I reply Mondays to Thursdays, typically within 48 hours.
Phase 1: Baseline and Setup
Submit your dog's stance photos, heelwork video, and your first board exercise clip.
- I'll review your baseline to pinpoint 1 to 2 hidden compensations, then show you where to adjust your own body position and hand placement to calm your dog out of high drive.
Phase 2: Strength and Schedule
Film your second strength movement and lock in your daily practice schedule.
- I'll check your execution clips to confirm the exercise targets the right muscles, then map out your exact sets, reps, and weekly schedule so you know how to run both movements correctly on your own.
You also get one 15-minute call to use if you get stuck, booked through my appointment link on a Monday or Wednesday.
Throughout the 4 weeks, I'll be right there with you, reviewing your video clips, adjusting your treat placement, and calming your dog out of high drive, so you're never left guessing.
This is hands-on help with spotting compensations and dialing in your dog's strength exercises, so bring me the thing you're working on.
What This is Not
Why Now
You've noticed something feels off during heelwork, but high drive and stoicism make it hard to spot what is happening underneath. Sport training keeps masking the imbalance, and without knowing how to monitor for precision, it keeps building until it pulls your dog from work.
You want your dog's body to hold up as trial training gets more intense. You want them moving with power on the trial field, handling the extra physical strain with ease, and staying resilient throughout a long sport career.
Four weeks from now, you could know the exact compensations your dog has been hiding and have 2 daily exercises running with correct form.
Why Join This Round
I'm keeping this group to 3 handlers for the Next Three. Assessment to Action gives you direct individual access so we can uncover hidden compensations and get your dog's strength exercises locked in quickly.
I'll work closely with each handler, help you spot subtle movement imbalances, and dial in your dog's exercises with clean mechanics.
And for this group, you're getting it at a special price that goes up after these spots fill.
